Best Gifts for Gifted

Black Friday was yesterday, Cyber Monday is coming. Its that time of year again. What do you buy Gifted Kids who thrive on items that stretch their mind and challenge their thoughts.
Every year, Mensa holds a competition for games that make you think.
Here are this years winning games.
ANOMIA

Description: Anomia plays off the fact that our minds are positively brimming with all sorts of random information; things to eat, pop songs, websites, etc... Sure, under normal circumstances, it's easy enough to give an example of a frozen food, or a dog breed; but you will find that your brain works a little differently under pressure!
Players: 3-6
Age Range: 10+

DIZIOS

Description: Dizios is the bright, bold and brain-bending domino game with a dizzying twist! Take turns placing tiles into the grid by matching up edges, and earn points according to the pieces on the board that your tile touches. Includes 71 glossy, thick chipboard game tiles.
Players: 2 or more
Age Range: 8+

FORBIDDEN ISLAND

Description: Keep Forbidden Island from sinking in order to buy enough time to capture its four treasures.
Players: 2-4
Age Range: 10+

WORD ON THE STREET

Description: On each turn, one team flips over a category card. Team members frantically brainstorm words that fit the category while the opposition tries to sidetrack them. The team must agree on a word and pull each letter of that word one lane closer to their side of the street, all before the time runs out.
Players: 2-8

WORD IN THE STREET - JUNIOR VERSION

At the NAGC conference - we previewed and got to play with these games. There were really great. My favorite was DIZIOS
